1960.  She graduated as an RN from the U of M in 1967.  John & Joyce were married in 1969.
one daughter-in law Kristin.   They have three grand daughters Alyssa, Kayla and Kelsey and
one grand son Matthew.  They have worked as BIMI missionaries in west-central Brazil since
America.  A Bible Institute for training national workers was reopened in 2000 and John
teaches some of the modules.  Their main goal is the establishment of independent Baptist
churches that are autonomous with their own national pastor.  Evangelism is a core ministry
of their churches with an emphasis on supporting missionaries throughout Brazil and other
countries.
