Kids 4 Truth at PLBC is driven by our church’s mission to know, love, and serve God and to teach our children toward living out that mission. At K4T we seek to train up the children of PLBC in a manner consistent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in two main areas:
A God-focused determination
Many programs teach how we should live and what God expects of His children, but not all excel at laying a foundation of Who God is. Kids 4 Truth curriculum views all of life through a God-focused paradigm – that is, “it’s all about God!” (See Romans 11:33-36.)
A bible saturated curriculum
At Kids 4 Truth we emphasize biblically grounded learning. The program is designed to help children to understand, really understand, why it is we are encouraging them to believe the Christian faith. We want this to sink in. We want them to remember years from now what they're learning at K4T. Our desire for kids is that they should know the truth in a profound sense – in a genuine, life-influencing way. We believe that Kids 4 Truth’s catechetical approach, with its use of repetition, questioning, and memorization, is an effective method for cultivating a genuine grasp of Christian doctrine.
