We have all made promises at various times in life, and sometimes we’re given empty promises by others. While politicians are known for doing that, the reality is that people in general struggle to keep the commitments they’ve made for various reasons. That is one of the many differences between us and God. We try not to make promises we cannot keep, but none of God’s promises ever risk being broken.
